ASA is a leader in the manufacture and supply of flow measurement instruments for liquids and gases in industrial processes. The company offers a wide range of instrumentation and technical solutions for a variety of industrial plants, engineering facilities, research and development centres and universities. The instruments are ideal for measuring flows of gas, vapour, water, chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and can also be used in food processing. ASA flowmeters have a wide range of applications in recycling, energy production, biotechnology and renewable energy.

Sensor model DIN, Clamp, Gas or SMS has a sturdy and reliable build. All of its internal components and wiring are isolated from environmental hazards, even the toughest, because the measuring tube and the outer tube both in stainless steel are welded together to provide a hermetic seal. Therefore it’s maintenance free and provide a long-term reliability. It’s available entirely made of stainless steel, also for the housing of the converter.

Orifice Asameters S6, also called kinetics, have measuring tube in shockproof plastic and are suitable for the measurement of high flow rates of aggressive fluids (acids and alkali) directly on the pipeline thanks to the metering tube connected with the main orifice plate.

Asameters model C-G…38/39 all made of stainless steel are designed for medium and high flow rates for every kind of gas (mod. C) and liquid (mod. G) also aggressive, at extreme operating and environmental conditions (high pressures and/or low or high temperatures).

Orifice Asameters Z6, also said kinetic Z6, have the measuring tube directly connected to the main flange, therefore the reading is made directly on the pipeline. They are suitable for the measurement of large flow of water or clear liquids and have reading scales largely increased compared to conventional flow rate range of orifice Asameters series D6-S6-U6.

For over 70 years, the Italian company ASA has been designing, manufacturing and selling, in Italy and abroad, a wide range of instruments for high-precision flow measurement, using high-tech solutions. Thanks to its experience, the quality and reliability of its products and its highly qualified technical support to customers, ASA has established itself in the market as a leader in the field of measurement instruments, achieving brand recognition.
The experience gained over the years, the high competence of the company’s employees and the co-operation with prestigious universities have enabled ASA to achieve high quality standards and to obtain important certifications both for the instruments produced and for the production system as a whole. In this way, ASA produces tools of maximum reliability and safety.
The C model azameters are designed mainly for different types of gases. Due to the special shape of the float, the instrument is slightly sensitive to changes in viscosity within certain limits. The instrument is thus characterised by low head losses. An additional advantage of the instrument is the short distance between the two flanges, only 250 mm, which allows it to be installed in tight spaces where no straight inlet and outlet pipework is required. As the instrument is made entirely of AISI 316L steel, the float position is transmitted by means of a magnetic coupling. These instruments can be installed on vertical upward flowing pipelines as well as on horizontal pipelines. In addition to the basic version, a model with electronic microprocessor with two-wire technology is available in Ex d version.
