Founded in 1939, the company "LES REGULATEURS GEORGIN" has developed gradually by diversifying its activities for more than 75 years:

• In 1965, a structure dedicated to physical measurement is taking shape. Dedicated to measurement and control, the PHYSIQUE department is created.
• In 1970, the industrial support and the dawning of electronics drive to a new PHYSELEC department, recognized as a specialist in intrinsically safe signal interfacing.
• In 1993, a PHYSAD department is created to fit the specificities and requirements of major accounts such as SNCF, French Navy, EDF.
• In 2003, the PHYSELEC department is extended to integrate the "FIELD BUS" digital technologies for industrial process.

Today, GEORGIN develops its different activities with the diligence of quality management system certified ISO 9008 version 2008.

Working closely with its clients, GEORGIN has turned its activities in a demanding and continually evolving market, and this way, has developed and enhanced its skills in pressure and temperature (analog and digital sensors), in intrinsically safe devices (barriers, relays, converters, power supplies, displays) and field bus (remote I/O) domains.

Our products are designed to be integrated in process of a wide variety of industrial applications. They can be used for extremely harsh environments such as extreme temperature, corrosive or hazardous atmospheres.

Hazardous atmosphere

As a key player in safety for industrial process, GEORGIN is involved in the Hazardous Atmospheres field since its creation.

Always attentive to new standards, GEORGIN was the first to obtain a certificate for INTRINSIC SAFETY when the CENELEC European Standards was founded.

Since new ATEX standards were introduced, GEORGIN endeavours to propose its industrial range in different ATEX versions to make our clients find THE product adapted to their need.

Thanks to our normative watch team we are always able to offer high quality devices in compliance with the latest edition of the ATEX standards.

Safety Integrity Georgin offers a wide range of "SIL capability" products and assists his customers in securing their industrial sites to meet the requirements of a safety instrumented function in compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

To qualify our products, from the early design stage, we included the requirements of the IEC 61508 standards. For the pressure transmitters, pressure and temperature switches range, GEORGIN has leaded an operational feedback analysis to quantify the reputation of reliability of our equipment.

All our SIL certified products have a SIL2 capability without redundancy or external surveillance in compliance with the Markov architecture 1001.
