The URR™ system: even air movement within an air duct is dependent on a conic shape, which allows a constant speed to be maintained regardless of the length of the air distribution system. Instead, the IRR™ system, part of the URR™ System, provides the basis to maintain optimal shape in the air distribution system throughout its entire length.
Advantages:
- Under identical air supply conditions in the circular air ducts system, linear air speed reduces toward the end of the air duct while the URR™ system, thanks to the conic system, ensures that the air flows’ speed remains stable throughout the entire system.
- The velocity vector of the air movement differs greatly from the beginning to the end of the air duct in the case that circular air duct systems are used while the URR™ system, thanks to its conic form, allows an air movement vector to be steadily achieved throughout the entire air duct.
- In the circular air duct system, pressure smoothly increases from the beginning to the end of the system and in the case that the system consists of long segments, air flow stabilizers must be included in the system or the diameter of the air duct must be reduced for the system's operation to remain stable. Meanwhile, the URR™ system allows the pressure to be stabilized throughout the entire system thanks to its conic form.
- The transfer of warm air along the circular air ducts system leads to the loss of temperature in the air flow, the longer the air supply system the greater the loss is. Meanwhile, the URR™ system is able to reduce this value by up to 70% thanks to its conic shape.
- In the case that a multibranch network of circular-shaped air ducts is used, the air speed in the main air duct, decreasing the farther it travels down, departs into each subsequent branch at an ever lower speed, which leads to the loss of evenness in the distribution of air flows while the URR™ system, thanks to its conic shape, provides a basis to supply air to each point in the air duct at an identical speed without losing air flow stability.
